Every VanStephens design begins with an idea from our little studio in California.
To reduce waste and avoid keeping stacks of inventory on shelves, many of our apparel items are made to order after you place your order. Some products are produced by trusted production partners who help us print and ship our designs with the quality we expect.
Because of this:
- Apparel typically ships within 2–7 business days before transit.
- Orders containing multiple items may arrive in separate shipments.
- You’ll receive tracking information for each shipment as it’s on its way.
We think it’s worth the wait, and we’re grateful for your support of a small independent business.
Shipping & Fulfillment

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you ordered.
If something isn’t quite right, you can return or exchange unworn, unwashed apparel within 30 days of delivery. We ask that items be in their original condition.
Because many of our products are made to order, exchanges and returns help us improve what we make, so we appreciate your understanding as a small business.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll make it right at no cost to you.
